Friday Cancellation

  1. What is the refund policy?

    Two-day weekend GA and VIP passes will be refunded by 50% of the purchase price.

    If you purchased a Friday ticket and did not attend Saturday, you will automatically receive a full refund within 5-10 business days for your Friday single-day wristband through the same method of payment.

  2. What if I never registered my wristband?

    Wristbands that were not registered were still active. Refunds will be issued automatically through the  original method of payment.

General Festival Info:

  1. What is CMT Music Fest?

    This summer, fans will get to experience the CMT lifestyle first hand and celebrate their love of country music the best way possible: with great friends, great music, in a spectacular venue – July 8 & 9 at Bingemans in Kitchener, Ontario. The two-day festival is jam packed with wall-to-wall amazing artists headlined by two of the biggest names in country music – Eric Church and Zac Brown Band.

  2. When is the CMT Music Fest?

    CMT Music Fest is taking place July 8-9, 2016.

  3. Where is the Festival?

    The festival will be taking place in Kitchener, Ontario at Bingemans, located at

  4. Is this a family friendly event?

    Children are welcome at the concert site and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Camping is only available for campers 19 years old and older, with government issued-photo ID.

  5. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

    The venue and activities are wheelchair accessible.

  6. What currency are the prices for the festival?

    All amounts on the CMT Music Fest website are in Canadian dollars. Our hotel partner Curadora, which is an independently-run website, has listed prices in USD.

  7. Where will the box office be located?

    The box office will be located at the Main Entrance to the festival site, which is located off of Bingemans Centre Drive by Boston Pizza and Funworx. A separate VIP box office will be set up at the VIP entrance.

  8. When is the box office open?

    Saturday, July 9 – 10:00am – 10:00pm

  9. What are festival hours?

    Saturday, July 9 – 2:00pm until 11:00pm

  10. Where is the festival entrance and exit?

    We have 3 entrances available: the Main Entrance, the VIP Entrance and the Camping Entrance. A site map with entrance points can be found on the Festival Info page.

    There are two entrances into the festival site available to General Admission fans.

    1. The Main Entrance is located off of Bingemans Centre Drive by Boston Pizza and Funworx.

    2. There will be an entrance between the campsite grounds and the festival for those camping during the weekend.

Tickets:

  1. How much does it cost and where can I buy tickets?

    Please visit our Tickets page for complete pricing. Attendance at CMT Music Fest is FREE for children under the age of 5. All children over the age of 5 must have a ticket to enter the concert site.

  2. What does the Weekend VIP ticket include?

    The Weekend VIP ticket delivers the ultimate VIP experience to music fans! With a Weekend VIP ticket, fans will have access to:
    • Two day access to the festival, with exclusive entrance and access to VIP areas
    • Preferred Off-Site Parking & VIP Shuttle Service
    • Premium food & cocktail purchase options
    • Premium trailer toilets
    • Storage Lockers
    • Charging Stations
    • Concierge Service
    • Access to Bingemans’ pool
    • Access to CMT Music Fest After Party (on festival grounds)

  3. What is your ticketing policy?

    All ticket sales are final. CMT Music Fest is a rain or shine event, no refunds will be issued due to weather. Artists and program schedule are subject to change without notice.

    Your ticket comes in the form of a wristband that cannot be shared and must remain on the same individual throughout the entire festival. Wristbands must be registered prior to the festival using the following link: CMTMusicFest.com/registration

  4. Is re-entry permitted during the festival? Will I be able to leave and re-enter the festival?

    For security reasons, there will be no same day in/out privileges. This means that guests will not be permitted to exit the festival grounds and re-enter on the same day. If you have a weekend ticket, you will be able to leave Friday night and re-enter on Saturday.

  5. Are there group rates available for tickets?

    For accredited groups, associations, and organizations looking to purchase tickets of 25 or more, please contact inquiries@cmtmusicfest.com

  6. What method of payment does CMT Music Fest accept?

    You are able to purchase tickets using debit or credit cards.

  7. Where is the VIP entrance?

    The central VIP entrance can only be accessed by the VIP Shuttle that picks up at the CMT Music Fest parking lot located at Hoffman Farm. A secondary VIP entrance is located at the Main Entrance.

  8. Can I buy tickets onsite?

    We will be selling tickets on-site at the main box office.

     

Travel & Lodging:

  1. Is there parking available?

    There is no parking available onsite at Bingemans. Guests are asked to visit the Travel & Lodging page of the website for complete information on travel options.

  2. Are barbeques allowed at campsites?

    Portable BBQs are allowed on the campsites but cannot be brought onto festival grounds.

  3. Are you allowed to put an RV on a non-serviced or serviced campsite?

    RV’s are restricted in serviced or unserviced campsites. They are only permitted in RV sites.

  4. What size are the campsites?

    Campsites vary slightly in size but they can accommodate four (4) people and one (1) tent comfortably. Each site also comes with a fire pit and picnic table. Upon purchase of a campsite, someone from our team will be in touch with you directly to assign your exact campsite.

  5. Is re-entry permitted between the camping area and the festival site?

    There are no in/out privileges between the camping area and the festival site. Campers are permitted to leave and re-enter the camping area at their leisure (for example if you’d like to go into town or visit Bingemans waterpark, you are welcome to!). However once you have entered the festival site each day, you are not permitted to leave and re-enter. For emergency situations, such as needing medication from your campsite, a member of our team will gladly escort you to and from your campsite.

  6. Will public transit be available?

    CMT Music Fest has worked closely with Grand River Transit to amp up the bus services during our festival. For a complete schedule and bus stops, please visit: http://www.grt.ca/en/travelwithus/Special-Events.asp

  7. Where is the parking lot?

    CMT Music Fest parking for General Admission and VIP is located at Hoffman Farm (Menno St./Township Road. 80) between Shantz Station Road and Fountain Street North.

  8. Where is the drop-off zone?

    For Kiss ‘n’ ride and Taxi pick up and drop off locations, please use the assigned spaces on the north side of Bingemans Centre Drive, just West of Shirley Drive.

    Please note that pick up and drop off vehicles have a maximum of 5-minutes wait time in these spaces.

  9. Do I have to pre-order a parking pass? How much do parking passes cost?

    There is NO onsite parking at the festival. ALL parking is located at the CMT Music Fest Parking lot located at Hoffman Farm.

    Pre-orders for parking are no longer available. Parking passes will be available for purchase both festival days at the parking lot located at Hoffman Farm.

    Weekend Parking Pass and Complimentary Shuttle: $30.00

    Single day Parking Pass and Complimentary Shuttle: $20.00

  10. When will shuttles to/from the parking lot to the festival site be operating?

    General Admission Shuttles from Hoffman Farm:

    Friday 3:00PM – 1:00AM

    Saturday 1:00PM – 1:00AM

    VIP Shuttles from Hoffman Farm:

    Friday 3:00PM – 2:00AM

    Saturday 1:00PM – 2:00AM

  11. How often are shuttles running?

    Shuttles will run a constant service (departing every 10 to 15 minutes) between the festival site and the CMT Music Fest Parking Lot located at Hoffman Farm.

  12. Can I ride my bike to the festival?

    People are able to ride their bikes to CMT Music Fest! We will have bike racks available for you.

  13. Where is VIP Parking?

    CMT Music Fest parking for General Admission and VIP is located at Hoffman Farm (Menno St./Township Road. 80) between Shantz Station Road and Fountain Street North. VIP ticket holders have complimentary access to the VIP shuttle.

  14. Can I bring my pop-up trailer?

    Yes, we are allowing pop-up trailers! The maximum size of a tent / pop-up trailer in a serviced or unserviced campsite is 35ft. To clarify, a pop-up trailer is a type of towed recreational vehicle that can be collapsed for easy storage and transport.

  15. What size are the campsites?

    Campsites vary slightly in size but they can accommodate four (4) people and one (1) tent comfortably, which is also the maximum allowed per campsite. Each site also comes with a fire pit and picnic table.

Artists and Programming:

  1. Can I meet the band/artists?

    Bands and artists manage their own schedules outside of their allocated performance time. As such, CMT Music Fest has no control over setting up individual meet & greets with fans. GA and VIP tickets do not include meet and greets.

  2. Where can I find a schedule of the weekend’s events?

    The official festival schedule can be found on our Schedule Page.

  3. How long do headlining acts perform?

    Typically the headlining act will perform 90-120 mins (1.hr-2 hours). For the most recent line up and schedule, please visit our Lineup and Schedule page.

Attending the Festival:

  1. What should we wear?

    Since the festival takes place at an outdoor venue and will run rain or shine, please dress appropriately according to weather conditions. It would also be a good idea to be prepared with hats and sunscreen.

  2. What if it rains?

    CMT Music Fest will run rain or shine.

  3. What forms of payment will CMT Music Fest accept onsite?

    Cash and credit will be accepted onsite at all food and merchandise vendors. Debit will not be accepted, however there will be ATMs onsite.

  4. Can we bring in lawn chairs?

    No. Unfortunately lawn chairs are not allowed onto the site. Attendees that have purchased weekend camping packages are welcome to bring lawn chairs for their campsites only.

  5. Can we bring in our own food and alcohol?

    Outside food and drink is strictly prohibited on the festival site.

  6. Someone in my party has food allergies, can I bring my own food?

    We will have a food vendors serving a variety of options including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian.

  7. Where can I put/store my things at CMT Music Fest?

    A limited number of lockers will be available for purchase for those with a General Admission ticket. Please visit the ‘Tickets’ page for more information. Guests with a Weekend VIP will have access to lockers in the designated VIP area on a first-come-first-serve basis

  8. Can I bring my dog?

    Only certified service dogs are allowed.

  9. Will there be a place I can buy things like sunscreen, gum or things I forgot to bring?

    We’ve got you covered! There will be a general store on-site available to both General Admission and VIP. It will be stocked with all the essential items you may have forgotten such as sunscreen, bug spray, shampoo, ponchos, Band-Aids and many more!

  10. Can I smoke anywhere on site?

    There will be designated smoking areas at Bingemans with cigarette disposal available. Please note that smoking is only allowed within these areas, as per the “Smoke-Free Ontario Act”. This includes the use of e-cigarettes.

  11. Are we allowed to take photos?

    Absolutely, in fact we encourage it! However your camera must adhere to the CMT Music Fest policy. No professional cameras will be allowed onto the site except for accredited media. Fans are welcome to use point and shoot camera, or smartphones. Don’t forget to tag us in your photos #CMTMusicFest

  12. What is and isn’t allowed on site?

    Please check the listing ‘What can/can’t I bring?’. This is your best reference and will be constantly updated leading up to the festival.

  13. Are generators allowed?

    Unfortunately generators are not permitted onsite. For more information regarding permitted items please check the listing “What can/can’t I bring

  14. Are health cards a valid form of government issued ID for proof of age of majority?

    No, health cards are not a valid form of government issued ID.

  15. Are there lockers available?

    A limited number of lockers will be available for purchase for those with a General Admission ticket. Please visit the ‘Tickets’ page for more information. Guests with a Weekend VIP ticket will have access to lockers in the designated VIP area on a first-come-first-serve basis

  16. Is there an after party?

    There is! The After Party is free to VIP ticket holders. General Admission ticket holders can purchase After Party tickets on-site.

    The After Party will be held both Friday and Saturday from 11pm until 1am.

  17. What forms of I.D. will be accepted?

    The following forms of I.D. will be accepted:

    Drivers Licence, Passport, Ontario Photo ID Card

  18. How many stages are there?

    There are two stages: Main Stage and the Maple Leaf Stage .

  19. What is your ejection policy?

    Any individuals consuming alcohol under the age of majority, consuming, selling or distributing illegal substances, or causing disturbance will be escorted off the festival grounds immediately, and may be subject to charges.

    All ejections from the festival grounds are final, and at the sole discretion of management.
